Conner Meenan
Conner is an E-RYT 500 Yoga Alliance yoga and meditation teacher and high-school science educator with the mission to bring equitable education, of mind, body, and spirit, to students across identity and experience.
Their yoga studentship has brought healing, empowerment, and connection to their own life and they find great joy and challenge in exploring the intersections of yoga philosophy and science. Their trauma-informed classes incorporate Hatha, Iyengar, and Vinyasa-influenced asana with an emphasis on socioemotional growth, pranayama, and joint-focused cues as catalysts to experiencing and exploring ourselves and our higher Self on and off the mat.
Conner is a graduate of New York University, Relay Graduate School of Education, Three Sisters Yoga, and Exhale to Inhale, with a Bachelor's in Chemistry and Anthropology, Master's of Education, a 500-hr certification in Vinyasa Yoga, and a 16-hr certification in Trauma-Informed Yoga.
Conner currently resides in Brooklyn, is CorePower’s Lead Instructor for NYC and teaches at Three Sisters Yoga in Manhattan and Loom Yoga in Williamsburg. When not teaching, they can be found reading, playing video games, or spending time in the kitchen.
“Conner's teaching style made me feel completely at ease while I learned new techniques. The verbal cues allowed me to get deeper into stretches than I have before and helped me to understand myself and my body in new ways.”
